Tropical cyclone “Sendong” recently hit the Philippines and severely devastated the provinces of Northern Mindanao and Negros Oriental. Massive flooding hit Region X, especially in Iligan City and Cagayan De Oro City. The storm has left at least 711 dead and 482 still missing, 432 were rescued and a total of 135,094 people were affected or 24, 680 families in 173 baranggays.
