Due to enquiries from the Filipino Community arising from the "IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS" notice published and circulated by the Philippine Embassy-Rome through the internet on 02/10/2014, we the organizers of FIBRE FILIPPINE (ENFiD and LES ARTISTES in particular, as well as the organizing committee) state and clarify that:
– The Patronage granted by the Philippine Embassy-Rome for the event FIBRE PHILIPPINES II is valid in all its legal effects in accordance with Italian norms and regulations;
– The Patronage granted by Ambassador Virgilio A. Reyes, Jr. to FIBRE FILIPPINE in 2013 and renewed in 2014 for this second edition, is until now valid in the Italian territory and that such Patronage is esteemed with the highest respect and appreciation by the diplomatic community, the Italian government and local institutions;
– The organizers of FIBRE FILIPPINE always value and appreciate the cooperation of all functionaries of the Philippine Embassy-Rome officials and are proud of their sustained support for this important cultural event aimed at promoting the good image of the Filipino culture in Italy;
– The Patronage of the Philippine Embassy-Rome carries with it the full use the of its logo in all media and publicity aspects of the events related to FIBRE PHILIPPINES II;
– The organizers of FIBRE FILIPPINE offered the opportunity of the occasion to raise funds for humanitarian cause thus sensitizing the Filipino Diaspora in Italy to contribute towards the ongoing reconstruction and rehabilitation of the 2013 devastated schoolhouses in the Philippines;
For this reason let it be known that FIBRE FILIPPINE II is pushing through with its plans as scheduled with the endorsement already given by the Italian institutions, entrepreneurs and politicians, international media as well as international personalities from the world of culture and entertainment.
In this vein, we hope for a better collaboration from the administration of Philippine Embassy –Rome that enriches the image of the Philippine institutions through initiatives that strengthen cultural exchange between Italians and Filipinos.

A seguito delle richieste di informazioni che ci sono state fatte da parte delle comunità filippine in Italia relativamente a “IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS” pubblicato su internet da Philippine Embassy il 02/10/2014, noi organizzazione di FIBRE FILIPPINE (ENFiD, LES ARTISTES e comitato organizzativo) precisiamo che:
– Il Patrocinio concesso dall’Ambasciata delle Filippine a Roma per l’evento FIBRE FILIPPINE II è valido a tutti gli effetti delle norme italiane;
– Il ruolo dell’Ambasciatore Virgilio A. Reyes Jr, che aveva concesso il Patrocinio nel 2013 e rinnovato per questa seconda edizione, è tutt’ora valido nel territorio italiano e sicuramente gradito per il valore di alta rappresentanza diplomatica e istituzionale;
– L’organizzazione di FIBRE FILIPPINE ha gradito ed apprezzato la collaborazione con tutti i funzionari dell’Ambasciata Filippina a Roma ed è lieta del loro contributo a sostegno di questo importante evento culturale che favorisce le comunità filippine in Italia;
– Il Patrocinio dell’Ambasciata prevede l’utilizzo del logo dell’Ambasciata stessa in tutte le parti dell’evento FIBRE FILIPPINE II;
– L’organizzazione di FIBRE FILIPPINE non ha mai fatto raccolta di fondi per propri interessi ma si è mossa a sensibilizzare i filippini in Italia per sostenere le emergenze umanitarie che nel 2013 hanno colpito milioni di persone nelle Filippine;
Per queste ragioni sopra elencate, FIBRE FILIPPINE II continuerà in ogni caso come da programma e con le ulteriori adesioni raccolte dalle istituzioni italiane, da imprenditri e politici italiani, dai mass-media italiani ed internazionali e dai personaggi del mondo della cultura e dello spettacolo.
Con questo spirito auspichiamo la migliore collaborazione da parte dell’Ambasciata Filippina a vantaggio dell’immagine delle istituzioni filippine stesse e delle iniziative di scambio culturale tra italiani e filippini.
