Filipinos based in the Vatican celebrated the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and the Holy See on Thursday with a Holy Mass presided over by Archbishop Dominique Mamberti, the Vatican’s foreign minister.
Ambassador Tuason was grateful that the liturgical celebration was held at the altar of the chair of St. Peter and was attended by all Filipino priests, religious and lay members of religious communities in Rome.
“The celebration hopes to strengthen more the diplomatic bond between the Philippines and the Holy See which has been marked by fruitfulness in promoting the gospel values for all God’s people,” Ambassador Tuazon said. (photo by: CRISSANTA OLBES)
