CNN, features “Eye on the Philippines” in its Eye On Series this whole week.
Rome, May 3, 2012 – Starting May 4 to May 10, CNN’s Eye on the Philippines (http://www.cnngo.com/philippines) focuses on the sights and sounds of the country, successes, day to day realities and the cross section of the socio-cultural, geo-political and socio-economic realities.
It also carries and promotes the Philippines’ new tourism brand campaign: “It’s More Fun in the Philippines”.
“To ensure the widest audience to CNN’s focus on our country and widest dissemination of the good news and interesting insights contained therein, the Filipino community is invited to watch CNN this whole week, and to likewise encourage their fellow-Filipinos and Italian friends, colleagues and employers to do the same”, Philippine Embassy to Italy said last Wednesday.
The Embassy is fully supportive of the CNN feature and all other initiatives promoting the Philippines, but remains firmly convinced that the best promoters of the country are the Filipinos themselves.
