Kumakalat ngayon sa social media ang report ukol sa bagong 'no visa policy' ng Estados Unidos sa mga Pinoy.
Manila, Abril 23, 2014 – Patuloy na kumakalat sa social media ang report ukol sa bagong 'no visa policy' ng U.S. sa mga Pinoy.
Tulad ng mababasa sa isang blog site ang isang anunsyo ng US State Department ng 'life-changing new policy for Filipinos'.
"Visas will no longer be required to travel to the United States. The policy to take the Philippines off the list of countries whose citizens are required to obtain visas for travel to the U.S. is effective immediately", ayon pa sa blog site.
Mabilis itong nakatawag ng pansin ng mga netizen at mabilis ang naging pagkalat sa mga social network.
Sa kabilang banda, ayon sa Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Amerika, sa pamamagitan ng Twitter account nito (@philippinesusa) ay sinabing nakatanggap sila ng mga tawag at mga text messages ukol dito at itinanggi ng Embahada ang report.
Nilinaw ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Estados Unidos: "The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines would like to inform the public that there is no truth to what appears to be an online news report that the United States has announced a 'no visa' policy for Filipinos."
"The Embassy has been in touch with the US Department of State, which has denied making such an announcement.
"The Embassy reminds the public that the online article being circulated in social media is a satirical piece that should not be taken seriously."
