1. This is to inform you that H.E. Ambassador Virgilio A. Reyes Jr retired from government service on 01 September 2014. On that date, the Ambassador ended his mission as the Philippine Ambassador to the Italian republic. Pending the arrival of the new ambassador, Minister and consul General Leila C. Lora-Santos is currently the Charge d’Affaires a.i. of the Philippine Embassy in Rome.
2. The official website of the Philippine Embassy is www.romepe.dfa.gov.ph. Its old website www.philembassy-rome.net has been deactivated.
3. The Philippine Embassy is not involved in any fund-raising activities. Please report to the Embassy any personality or association who is using, without authority, the Embassy name/Embassy logo to generate/collect funds.
