“This is how to open an attaché doc.”
Valedictory Address
by Victoria Tolentino
Respected guests, parents, teachers, batchmates, good afternoon. I still remember the first day I enter this high school. It seemed so big for me that I was frightened by new faces, new atmosphere and a new set of teachers. Four years quickly passed and new faces had become best of friends, new atmosphere had become second home and new teachers had become foster parents. In this school we played, studied, laughed and even cried sometimes. Surely we will cherish every moment of our days in high school.
Dear teachers, on behalf of all the graduating students, we thank you! For your endless support and patience and most of all for the knowledge you have shared that nobody can take away from us.
Dear parents, maraming salamat po! My parents always tell me that only good education can bring us out of poverty and difficulties. Like any parents in the world you are always ready to give the best for us. To say thank you is not enough for all the things you do for us.
As we go out of this alma mater, some of us will go to university as some of us may go to work to help the family. But dear batch mates, let us all do the best of whatever endeavors we take. We must strive harder and as one force give our beloved country a helping hand towards economic stability. We must all be agents of reforms for a better Phillipines. A country who does not need to let her people to leave and work in other places. In the near future I want my mother back so let my wish be our guiding force to study even harder in college, becoming the prime actors of a new and energetic society of our country.
Hurray for the parents , teachers and hurray to us graduating students of Malabon National High School!!! I thank you.
“My father was in Saudi Arabia when I graduated high school” Luhaang wika ng guro. “He was a chief engineer and sure he does not have problems with documents, pero he did not attended my graduation. He knew from others of my being a gay. I never had a father since I was a kid much more during my graduation” Pilit ang pagpapatawa ni Federico habang wari ay isang artistang nagtutuyo ng luha sa pisngi.
“Mother dalhin mo lang lahat ng documents mo at ang cedolino ng renewal and you can take at least 32 days of vacation . Nasa batas yan.” “I will just e mail you the last three modules of our lesson, mas magaling ang teacher mo doon ,Valedictorian pa!” aniya pa niya.
