Best Booth Contest, kontrobersyal

The criteria for PIDA’s Best Booth Contest have been announced during assembly meetings, posted at social networking site, and Ako Ay Pilipino website.  During the event, the criteria and the start of the judging were also announced.  It has also been announced during assembly meetings that only one winner will be chosen.

The Judges have done their job in a fair and professional manner, and the only basis for judging was the criteria, as set by the Committee.  The Judges, not affiliated to any Filcom neither staff of the Philippine Embassy nor officer/member of PIDA, didn’t know one another and made the rounds accompanied by the Committee representative, booth-by-booth, individually at different times to ensure fairness.  The Judges relied only on the Booth numbers not knowing what Community represents each booth, so as not to be influenced by other factors.  Afterwards, score sheets were handed-over to the Committee representative for tabulation.

PIDA commends all the preparations, efforts, and time exerted by participants to this competition and hopes they will exhibit sportsmanship.
