The search for Outstanding Filipino Workers (OFW) in various category is open to all Filipino migrant workers in Italy. Special awards will also be given to Italians and other nationalities.
April 23, 2014 – The FEDERFIL-ITALY SERVICES AWARDS 2014 FOR OUTSTANDING FILIPINO WORKERS IN ITALY (OFW) is a nationwide campaign dedicated to all Filipino Overseas and Migrant Workers in Italy, and aims to uplift their morale and to honor them in their Outstanding contribution, dedication, and commitment in Public Service for the host Country and especially to their families left in Philippines.
CATEGORIES OF DIFFERENT AWARDS
A. Individual Awards Category
5 Outstanding Caregivers and/or Medical Staff Services
5 Outstanding Household Managers and/or Hotel & Restaurant Workers & Other Services
5 Outstanding Leaders in Civic and Religious (Catholics and Non Catholics)
5 Outstanding Youth Star Leaders (Catholics and Non Catholics, also in Academic Standing)
5 Outstanding Filipino/Filipina Senior Citizen in Italy
5 Outstanding Employers (Italian and Non-Italian)
5 Outstanding Phil. Govt. and Private Employees in Italy
5 Outstanding Italian Govt. and Private Employees in Italy
B. Group Awards Category
5 Outstanding Civic Organization (Catholic and Non-Catholics)
5 Outstanding Religious Group (Catholic and Non-Catholics)
MECHANICS /REQUIREMENTS IN ALL CATEGORIES OF DIFFERENT AWARDS
(With corresponding Percentage Criteria 100% total in each category)
A. Individual Categories
5 Outstanding Caregivers and/or Medical Staff Services
a. Must be a Filipino or former Filipino, at least 18 yrs. up to 60 yrs. of age, Male or Female with good moral character, at least 5 yrs. consecutively as Working caregiver (present work)
b. Must be nominated by others and/or certified and endorsed by employers attesting to the service.
c. Must submit 2-4 paragraphs of Stories regarding his/her experience during their service as caregiver in Italy
d. Must also submit Xerox copy of proof of evidence as tax payer or INPS payment receipts (5 yrs. consecutively).
Note: All requirements if submit in Photo shop electronic copy and Video Presentation is more
acceptable and only limited in 2-3 minutes (but with supporting evidences as no.1 requirement).
5 Outstanding Household Managers and/or Hotel & Restaurant Workers, and in Other Services:
a. Must be a Filipino or former Filipino, at least 18 yrs. and up to 60 yrs. of age, Male or Female, with good moral character, at least 5 yrs. working as Households and/or Hotel and Restaurants and other services.
b. Must be nominated by others and /or certified and endorsed by employers attesting to their service as such.
c. Must submit 2-4 paragraphs of stories regarding their experience years of service in that category in Italy.
d. Must also submit photocopy of proof evidence as tax payer or INPS payment receipts (5yrs.)
5 Outstanding Youth Star Leaders
(From any Organization/Association/Church Leader, Civic Leader, Sports Leaders, Music Band
Leaders, school campus Leaders, etc. as long as leaders with proof members existing presently).
a. Must be a Filipino or Former Filipino Citizen, at least 15 yrs. old up to 35 yrs. of age (single) Male or Female, with good moral character, at least 5 yrs. experience as a youth leader or in their group or organization, must be nominated by his/her groups attested by at least 25 members’ signatures, show some list of successful achievements, projects and activities in his/her organization or associations.
b. Must be recognized our Philippine Embassy-Italy or any regulatory institutional body. Must submit at least 2-4 paragraphs success stories and experience during his/her service being a youth leader.
5 Outstanding Employers (Italians-Non Italians)
a. Must be Italian, other Foreign nationalities, and Filipino Employees (as evidenced by their passports) at least 18 yrs. old and above, Male or Female, with good moral character,
b. Must be nominated and/or endorsed by their Filipino/Filipina subordinate workers in any service categories,
c. Must submit or show any proof of being employer of Filipinos, and the Filipino or Filipina Workers endorsers must write 2-5 Paragraphs of good success stories about their employers.
5 Outstanding Filipino/Filipina Senior Citizen in Italy
a. He/She must be a Filipino citizen or former Filipino (as evidenced by their passports) at least 65 yrs old above of age. Carta Identita holder and 30 yrs above residence in Italy.
b. Must be nominated and endorsed by his/her Friends/relatives by telling stories of family his/her family accomplishment (2-4 paragraphs, with proof of evidence, ex. pictures of the Family successful unique story in photo shop or video presentation 2- mins. only).
c. Some accomplishments, contribution in the development or in any humanitarian aid in our Country or in any other parts of the world.
5 Outstanding Government/Private Italian Employees
a. Must be Italian Citizen (with Italian Passports as evidenced), 25 yrs. of age, male or female, degree holder and 5 yrs. worked experience above (in private or public).
b. Must be endorsed or nominated by Filipino Workers in Italy, proof of any successful services done for OFW in Italy (as many).
c. Endorser/or Nominees must submit 2-4 paragraphs successful stories with corresponding evidence ( if photo shop, video presentation not less than 2- mins. only).
