The Associazione Pilipinas OFSPES is announcing that starting this September there will be two more Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (LSE) Training Programs for Filipino migrants in Italy wishing to develop their leadership skills and become social entrepreneurs.
The LSE4 to be conducted in Rome will begin on 12 September at the Philippine Embassy to Italy on Viale Medaglie d’Oro 112-114, 00136 Rome while the LSE5 in Milan will start on 19 September at the Philippine Consulate Office, Via Sta. Maria Segreta 6, Milan 202123.
Sessions will start at 9:30 am till 4:30 pm, two Sundays per month from September 2010 till March 2011. The LSE programs consist of a total of 14 training sessions covering three modules: leadership, financial literacy and social entrepreneurship. This program is a collaboration of five institutions: the Associazione Pilipinas OFSPES, the Philippine Embassy to Italy, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), the Overseas Workers’ Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the Ateneo University School of Government/Ateneo Center for Social Entrepreneurship (ASoG/ACSEnt). Resource persons will come primarily from the ASoG and the Associazione Pilipinas OFSPES. A certificate from the Ateneo School of Government and the four other institutions will be awarded to each trainee who completes the program.
Everyone is invited to take the training and work towards fulfilling the LSE vision that all “Filipino migrants will be united towards supporting each other in becoming empowered and highly respected members of society” starting in Italy.
